In my diverse journey through life, I’ve worn many hats – from a former federal politician and industry leader to a business owner, husband, and father of three. Now, my focus is on contributing to the community through my writing. When I’m not savouring a glass of coffee and scanning the headlines, I’m immersed in crafting political thrillers. And of course, I also enjoy sharing stories over a cold beer.

My writing revolves around contemporary issues that impact our community, with a strong emphasis on politics and parliamentary themes. Throughout my life, I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with remarkable individuals, achieving great things despite facing challenges and stumbling along the way.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of engaging with remarkable individuals, from Presidents to Prime Ministers, celebrities to industry leaders. Alongside these experiences, I’ve also been humbled by the opportunity to serve the Australian national parliament and assist those in need within the community.
A BRIEF JOURNEY THROUGH THE DECADES
EARLY YEARS
Opting to part ways with traditional schooling at 16 was a daring move, a rebellion against a system that felt stifling. I explored AFL football, gaining some traction in the semi-pro leagues, and began a career in the media.
CORPORATE LIFE
My business efforts and I quickly ascended to a management. I speclised in reviving struggling operations. My management journey soared, allowing me access to the executive suite.
POLITICAL LIFE
This chapter was marked by parliamentary service. I delved into the intricate dance of politics, where perceptions often trump reality. Once politics jettisoned me I sought university education and advocacy.
INDUSTRY LEADERSHIP
With my sixth decade came leadership of various national industry associations, a role impacting industry policy. Fostering growth, steering policy, and enriching markets became my calling.
STORYTELLER
I now focus on the art of leadership, as I speak about authentic leadership whilst penning political thrillers.
